Alison Hughey, MT-BC is a music therapist, music teacher and performer. Her private practice, Carolina Music Therapy, serves clients across the lifespan but focuses on older adults with dementia. She performs as a soloist (vocals and ukulele/guitar), freelance flutist, and as a member of the Afterschool Special. She, her husband, and their rescue dog live in the metropolis of Cowpens, SC (sarcastic joke- it’s a very small town, in between Greenville, SC and Charlotte, NC).
