Endo affects around one in ten women, but it is so often misdiagnosed. Women go on for an average of eight years with crippling pain not knowing they have the disease, which can have a detrimental effect on their lives. We speak to gynaecologist and Medical Director of Jean Hailes for Women's Health Dr Elizabeth Farrell about the disease, sex therapist Cat O Dowd on how to manage endo with your sex life, and Syl Freedman from EndoActive on her work raising awareness of the disease.
