Welcome to another installment of The Hour Cosmic, your favorite comics game show! This week, our guest is the one and only Adam WarRock!
On this week’s show, among other things, we discuss:
-Joe Kubert's awesome Sgt. Rock covers!
-How Euge releases ONE HUNDRED free songs a year!
-The iPods of comics characters!
-Matt's sick rhymes!
Let’s meet our guest, shall we?
Adam WarRock - aka Eugene Ahn - used to be a lawyer, but now he’s an internet sensation. How does one do that, you may ask? You make stupid good hiphop chock full of pop culture - and not the easy stuff, the stuff everyone raps about. No, you discuss comics (and awesome comics, at that - Booster Gold, the Infinity Gauntlet, etc) and cult TV shows (Parks and Recreation, Firefly), among real life curiosities and life experience. Follow him on
Twitter, visit his
website (where you can pledge hard earned cash in the third annual Adam WarRock donation drive), and buy his music via
BandCamp.
As always, your hosts are:
Matthew Meylikhov – Bostonian, cat and beard enthusiast, co-writer of “
Detective Space Cat” with
Colin Bell, writer of “Morning Glories Babies,” "Morning Glories Academy Study Hall" (both backmatter for the Image Comics series "
Morning Glories") and “
Control,” and letterer extraordinaire. He reads more comics than anyone on the planet, and has sworn off White Castle for life.
Brian Salvatore – New Jerseyan, New York Mets enthusiast, host of “Input/Output,” a music podcast, and occasional
blogger/freelance writer. He has never met a dog he didn’t like (even that one that bit his leg when he was 10), and has baked better bread than he ever thought possible.
Vince Ostrowski - Minnesotan, Mad Men enthusiast, staff writer and social media dude for Multiversity Comics. When not not-loving season 4 of Arrested Development, Vince can be found Tweeting furiously and not eating meat.
You can interact with the show in all sorts of ways – first of all, please rate, review and subscribe to the show in
