0:36

0:41

so all the soul seekers can

0:43

find us and

0:48

subscribe so all the soul seekers can find us . So last week we talked about how

0:51

important it is to stand alone , like in those

0:53

moments of stillness when your true

0:56

self begins to emerge

0:58

or does emerge . It's

1:01

really , really important to

1:03

let yourself be in that alone space

1:05

. But

1:08

let's get real In

1:10

that space it can get pretty ugly . During

1:13

the painting of my standalone

1:16

series , I found myself in

1:18

a deep dive of

1:20

what artists call the ugly stage of

1:22

an art piece , of

1:25

what artists call the ugly stage of

1:27

an art piece . This is when you

1:29

really dive deep into your essence and the essence of what wants

1:31

to emerge from you

1:33

or , in the case

1:35

of painting , from the paint into

1:37

something beautiful . Just like

1:40

when you deep dive

1:42

into yourself . Sometimes

1:44

it gets a little messy , sometimes

1:47

it gets a bit ugly so

1:49

ugly that you have no

1:51

idea what

1:54

will emerge and how it will emerge

1:56

. So this is what

1:58

I learned during that process is

2:01

that you sometimes just have to give it time

2:03

. That process is that you sometimes

2:05

just have to give it time . Now , this is not my strength

2:08

waiting , being patient , divine timing

2:10

, like those things don't even exist in

2:12

my conscious awareness and

2:21

it's . It's sometimes really hard , but at the same time it can be very profound

2:23

. Sometimes , you know , I just

2:25

keep going into the ugly side

2:28

a bit longer , and

2:30

sometimes I have to take a breather and

2:32

completely do something else for

2:35

a while before I continue on . Sometimes

2:38

I just really want to jump out of

2:40

it all . But I've

2:42

learned to trust my intuition

2:44

and there is always

2:47

this deep and profound

2:49

knowing that sooner

2:51

or later throughout the process

2:53

, I will emerge more

2:55

beautiful than ever before . But

2:59

when you're in it , you're

3:01

in it and it is

3:03

can be hard to

3:05

see any beauty in

3:07

the process at all . You

3:10

can get so messy in there , so tangled

3:13

, so murky

3:16

right , so murky that

3:20

you feel lost , unsure

3:22

how to move forward . You

3:24

feel stuck in the midst of it all , unable

3:27

to see any kind of beauty in

3:29

the chaos . Just

3:32

like painting , I

3:34

have to walk away and let things sort

3:36

of settle , and

3:39

it's in those moments of pause

3:41

that , standing alone

3:43

, that clarity really

3:46

begins to emerge . When

3:49

you're ready to move forward , you have to

3:51

take a good look , like

3:54

really take a good look at

3:56

what you can release and

3:59

what do you want to keep . Just

4:03

like in painting , sometimes we push things to

4:05

the back and sometimes we pull them forward . Sometimes

4:08

we release them all together and we paint over

4:11

it . Sometimes we change

4:13

the entire perspective . The

4:19

whole point is that

4:21

the key to it all is change

4:23

. You

4:27

have an intuitive wisdom that says keep

4:29

this , it will serve you in the future

4:31

, but please let go of this . It

4:34

will only hold you back . Follow

4:38

those intuitive nudges

4:40

, those whispers . But

4:44

if you're like me , there is a part of you that

4:47

you feel very

4:49

connected to some of those aspects

4:51

, some of those perspectives , some of those beliefs , some

4:55

of those thoughts , some of those emotions , some of those experiences

4:57

. Right Like you , just don't know

4:59

what will happen if you let

5:02

go . But

5:06

also , if you're like me , there's this internal

5:09

conflict with it all and

5:11

sooner or later you

5:14

either jump off the cliff or

5:16

you take a baby step to see

5:18

if you'll survive . Step to see if

5:23

you'll survive , apply it and see what happens

5:25

. That's my theory . Just

5:27

try it , see

5:35

what happens . If not , you can always go back Sooner or later . You wipe away

5:37

the tears and you apply the new color and keep trying different things

5:39

, feeling

5:41

your way through life through the painting

5:44

. You know , you just kind of keep moving

5:46

paint around , listening to your

5:48

intuition as you go , keeping

5:50

things at work and releasing those that

5:52

don't , not being attached

5:55

to anything , because you really

5:57

want to feel free in the experience

5:59

. You want to feel relaxed and you want

6:01

to feel free in the experience . Do you want to feel relaxed and

6:03

do you want to feel powerful ? And the main focus , the

6:07

essence of

6:09

why you started in

6:12

the first place , why you wanted to go down

6:14

this deep , crazy

6:17

path ? Right

6:20

, because you want to change . You

6:27

wanted to be out of the chaos . You wanted

6:30

to , you wanted to feel happier , and

6:37

that feeling always

6:39

remains visible amidst

6:42

all the chaos . All

6:44

the ugliness , distractions

6:49

fade away sooner or later and

6:51

you hone in on what truly

6:53

matters . You literally

6:55

become the vision

6:58

and sometimes

7:00

the focus shifts

7:02

entirely and

7:06

you rise out of the dust like

7:08

a phoenix , but

7:10

no matter how scary it is , you

7:12

know that it has to go . It

7:17

has to change . Shape the focus

7:19

might have to change and for sure

7:21

your perspective has to change . Shape the focus might have to change and for sure your perspective

7:23

has to change . And then , all of a

7:25

sudden , you've changed directions

7:28

completely and

7:31

you feel like you're starting all over down

7:33

some unexpected path that you never

7:36

thought possible . But

7:39

yet there's this passion that

7:41

emerges . Possible , but

7:44

yet there's this passion that emerges , this extreme

7:47

clarity and focus that emerges

7:49

with this new direction

7:51

, and

7:53

you feel like you're alive

7:55

, like you're thriving . And

8:00

so , layer by layer , you release what no longer

8:02

serves you and you continue down that path , like

8:04

it's not some place

8:06

to emerge into , like

8:09

there's no final destination . But

8:11

through the process , you know that

8:13

sooner or later it's going to get , you

8:15

know , a bit murky again , but

8:17

if you're staying on task and you're

8:20

staying focused and you're really

8:22

allowing the process of

8:24

the emergence

8:27

, the evolution , to be a constant

8:29

, then you're not

8:31

going to be able to do it . Then

8:34

it becomes easier , the process becomes

8:36

easier . You

8:42

may feel exhausted , but you know that

8:44

there's a determination , a motivation

8:46

that carries this deep

8:49

passion , carries

8:51

this deep passion and

8:53

you're willing . You're willing

8:56

to be exhausted . So

9:00

, if you need to step away

9:02

, give

9:05

the vision time to evolve , return

9:10

with a new , fresh perspective , continue

9:15

to breathe life into your creation

9:17

, into your path

9:21

, your journey , trusting

9:24

in the process of transformation , both

9:26

in art and in life . What

9:32

I've also found on this beautiful

9:34

journey of life is that art

9:36

can be a simple

9:38

and easy way to transform

9:40

your life , creating the beauty out

9:44

of the ugly stages , and

9:48

it doesn't have to be that hard , but we do

9:50

have to allow the process . Thank

9:54

you again for joining me here on the impactful

9:56

influencer podcast and

9:59

until next time , don't

10:01

be afraid to take that deep dive .
