Lilly Woodbury was born in Tofino but grew up on the Great Lakes in Northern Ontario, where she cultivated a love for the outdoors and the natural wonders of the planet. She has an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of Toronto, and also worked for Greenpeace New Zealand. Lilly won Starfish Canada's Top 25 Environmentalists Under 25 in Canada in 2018 and has appeared on GlobalBC and CTV broadcast news to weigh in on policy-driven solutions around plastic waste management and recycling for ocean conservation.
