It isn't that I had low expectations at all but I was simply stunned by how good this show was. The writing, acting, sound design and music are all top-shelf. Something about the dialogue makes even the most surreal and absurd turns of the plot feel utterly grounded and relatable. I don't understand it but holy moly is it a memorable ride.

Surreal mystery comedy about a bunch of patients who struggle with hallucinations. What marks this show out as special is how fun and personable the characters are. Even when the narrative starts to take the kitchen sink approach, it's just fun to hang out with these characters.

This both unique and hilarious, and the acting is spectacular! I love Amber especially. "Who pays for the fish, Susan" says it all. Please give us another season!

Five stars isn't enough. I also wish that I could add GIF's to reviews because that would be a perfect way for me to react to what I just heard. I'm going to listen again and again until season 2.
