Welcome to "The Indigo Diaries." Join host Natasha Hickling in the third, long-lasting series: "The World Through Our Eyes.." where she will be joined once again by fellow ADHD Coach Lisa Kerr in a “Starting the conversation” Episode.

Lisa is a Chartered Accountant with a Corporate Finance and HR background. For over 20 years she held senior financial and operational roles, before setting up her consulting business in 2020.

Lisa is also Autistic and ADHD, but managed to make it through to her 40s before she found this out. The diagnoses led to Lisa carrying out extensive research into Neurodiversity and in 2023 she trained as an ADHD Life Coach, which brought even more insights and reflections.

Lisa is committed to speaking openly about her experiences to enable others to understand, embrace and empower Neurodiversity in the workplace. It’s been an emotional journey and she gets upset at times in the telling, but wants you to know that she chooses to share this with you to give an insight into the mind of a Neurodivergent adult. And who said Autistics have no empathy!

In today's episode, Lisa discusses neurodivergence and the challenges that they can face in the workplace today. She highlights the difference between neurodiverse and neurodivergent employees and the positive impact organisations can have if they understand, embrace, and empower them. At the end of the day, we all just want a place we can belong!
