So saving time and energy, expanding
0:02
in your insights and your knowledge
0:04
and your understanding and your impact
0:06
and really in your understanding of
0:09
the cost of inaction are all
0:11
integral to making informed decisions. I
0:13
can't tell you how that cost
0:15
of inaction is probably the number
0:18
one problem so many of
0:20
you face because we talk about it.
0:22
That is the number one issue that
0:24
so many of you have. It is
0:26
the cost of inaction. Welcome to the
0:28
influencer podcast. I'm your host, Julie
0:30
Solomon. If you found yourself
0:32
here, it means you are ready to unleash
0:35
the powerful visionary that lives inside you, turning
0:37
you into an authentic leader
0:40
who creates influence, impact, and
0:42
change. Let's get started.
0:44
Hello, my friends. Welcome back to another
0:46
episode of the influencer podcast. This is
0:49
Julie Solomon. If this is your first
0:51
time joining us, if it's not, welcome
0:53
back. Welcome back. Today's episode is an
0:56
important one because it's all about smart
0:58
spending for the year. Now, we
1:00
all know that time is our most
1:02
valuable resource, but let's not forget that
1:04
money is pretty important too. So today
1:07
I'm going to dive into how to
1:09
spend wisely in your brand and business
1:11
this year and share some personal experiences
1:13
that might just save you from making
1:15
costly mistakes. And with that, let's
1:17
get started. Okay, so before
1:19
we jump in today's topic, I want to
1:22
first acknowledge that we're all in different boats
1:24
facing very unique challenges. What works for one
1:26
may not work for the other. So take
1:29
what resonates with you today and leave the
1:32
rest. I really feel like
1:34
that taking what you like and leaving
1:36
the rest at different times and iterations
1:38
of where you're at in business is
1:40
really the key to growth and really
1:42
having any kind of tool or experience
1:44
or strategy that someone gives you to
1:46
actually work for you. Now, we're first going
1:48
to dive into setting the stage for a little
1:50
bit because I think that when it comes to
1:52
spending on your business, there are really three key considerations
1:55
that I always keep in mind. One, will it save
1:57
me time and energy? Two, what's the best way to
1:59
do it? Will it allow me to show up
2:01
and sell or serve in an expanded way?
2:03
And three, what is the cost of
2:06
not doing this? Now let's tackle the
2:08
first consideration when deciding where to invest
2:10
in your business. Will it save me
2:12
time and energy? Well, my friends, time
2:14
is our most precious resource and energy
2:17
is its close companion. Just imagine a
2:19
scenario where you're spending countless hours on
2:21
manual tasks that could be automated. So
2:23
investing in tools or software that streamlines
2:26
these processes not only saves you time,
2:28
but also frees up that mental space
2:31
and energy. Now, for example, picture managing
2:33
your social media posts individually across all
2:35
the platforms that you may be on.
2:37
Now, consider the time and energy saved
2:40
by using a social media scheduling strategy
2:42
or even tool. Now, not only does
2:44
this ensure consistency, but it also allows
2:46
you to focus on more meaningful aspects
2:49
of your business. This is why inside
2:51
my program, the Brand Accelerator, I actually
2:53
have an entire module dedicated to saving
2:56
time and energy. And I actually give
2:58
my students my entire process from the
3:00
spreadsheet to the tools, to the strategy, to
3:02
the actual copy and paste of the content that
3:05
I use to do this with my own content
3:07
creation and social media posts, just to make my
3:09
life a lot easier. Now I'm going to be
3:11
sharing a little bit about this in a bootcamp
3:14
that I'm going to be starting next week. If
3:16
you want to hear more about it, you can
3:18
go to juliesalmon.net/bootcamp. If you're looking to save a
3:20
little bit more time and energy. Now moving on
3:22
to our second consideration, and that is will it
3:25
allow me to show up and sell or serve
3:27
in an expanded way? Sometimes I think that we
3:29
may hesitate to really invest in areas that
3:31
directly impact our ability to connect with
3:34
our ideal audience. What I mean by
3:36
that is let's say that you're contemplating
3:38
upgrading, I don't know, your phone for
3:40
better video quality. This investment to upgrade
3:42
your phone not only enhances the visual
3:44
appeal of your content, but also it
3:46
allows you to connect with your audience.
3:49
I think on a deeper level. Remember,
3:51
your audience will always value
3:53
quality over quantity. And This
3:56
investment is a direct reflection
3:58
of your commitment to. By
4:00
adding value. Now I want to talk
4:02
about the third consideration, which I feel
4:04
is the most important and that is.
4:06
What? Is the cost of not doing
4:09
this? I think it is so
4:11
crucial to recognize that in action
4:13
can have it's own set of
4:15
consequences, domino effect, and resolutions that
4:17
you may not even realize that
4:19
you're signing up for. For example,
4:21
when you're debating or not whether
4:23
to invest in any kind of
4:25
professional support or development, the cost
4:27
of not doing it could be
4:29
missed. Opportunities. Stagnant. Growth or
4:32
even falling behind the industry trends and
4:34
support and network that you need to
4:36
actually further where it is that you're
4:38
trying to go. by investing in continuous
4:40
learning, you position yourself as a leader
4:42
in your field and a cost of
4:44
not doing so may actually lead to
4:46
a decline in your competitive edge. Now
4:48
I cannot tell you how many times
4:50
I have seen student after community member
4:52
after person that does listen to this
4:55
podcast company and say man, I wish
4:57
I would have gotten started sooner now
4:59
that I know what I know. Now
5:01
that I finally bit the bullet and I invested
5:03
in that you know process or invested in that
5:05
coach or I bought that course I took that
5:07
program Man I just wished I would have started
5:09
earlier because I can tell you my friends I
5:12
have never had any one come to me and
5:14
say okay I wish I would have started later
5:16
and knowing what I know now no one ever
5:18
says that Everyone always says man I wish I
5:20
would have started earlier. I wish I would have
5:22
had the courage, the competence. I wish I would
5:25
have just follow the fear. I wish I would
5:27
have gotten out of my mind drama and actually
5:29
taken action. So when it comes to. That
5:31
and action. It is so important
5:33
to remember that it's costing you
5:35
more then that initial cost Me
5:37
Feel the cost of inaction costing
5:39
you more than that initial cost
5:41
of action may feel. So with
5:43
that to say, these considerations are
5:45
not just about spending money, they're
5:47
about strategic investments in your business
5:49
growth In where it is you
5:52
say that you wanna go to
5:54
saving time and energy, expanding in
5:56
your insights, in your knowledge, in
5:58
your understanding in your impact. And
6:00
really in your understanding of the cost
6:02
of an action are all integrals him
6:05
making informed decisions. I can't tell you
6:07
how that cost of inaction is probably
6:09
be number one problem so many of
6:11
you face because we talk about it.
6:14
That is the number one issue that
6:16
so many of you have. It is
6:18
the cost of an accent. So I
6:21
am doing something this year at the
6:23

6:25
you to join me for it. It

7:44
incredible woman stacey atheists who is a digital
7:47
creator and this is what she said about
7:49
what I'm sharing with you during this boot
7:51

7:53
say that since you are free trainings I
7:55

7:57
I wanted to nice down and only. Two
8:00
weeks later I have grown by almost
8:02
three thousand followers and my engagement is
8:04
out. The roof just hit the Ten
8:06

8:09
proof that it works. I mean do

8:19
Yes, Valentine's Day my friends and you
8:22
will only be able to get into
8:24
it for the next couple of weeks
8:26
said oh miss out and I actually
8:28
went to share a personal. Story with
8:30
you. A time when I made a
8:33
major spending mistaken a business really the
8:35
cost of inaction and I want to
8:37
tell you just really. It's a time
8:39
where I decided actually not to invest
8:41
and looking back I just really wished
8:44
that I would have. and I think
8:46
that learning from our mistakes is crucial
8:48
for the story might resonate with you.
8:50
So back in cost, this was twenty
8:53
seventeen. I found myself south at a
8:55
crossroads of my business. I had been
8:57
hearing really about the wonders at a
8:59
time. Of Facebook ads, how they get
9:01
help, skyrocket your reach, your engagement, and of
9:04
course you're revenue. How they get you in
9:06
front of people that you maybe would have
9:08
a much harder time or much longer time
9:10
getting in front of. However, and I'll never
9:13
forget this it was actually think it was
9:15
December of twenty sixteen I got on a
9:17
call it the ads guy in this fear
9:19
of mean, not really understanding and really my
9:22
fear of the unknown and and most importantly
9:24
my fear as spending the money held me
9:26
back from taking the plunge. You see, I
9:29
think that the fear. wasn't just about
9:31
spending the money but it was about
9:33
not having a clear strategic understanding of
9:35
how facebook ads work and i was
9:37
worried about pouring resources into something that
9:39
i didn't fully grasp but instead of
9:41
saying you know why i don't understand
9:43
this which is why i'm hiring a
9:45
professional that does what i do i
9:47
decided to let the fear of spending
9:50
money to dictate my growth and i
9:52
paused and i waited and i said
9:54
no and i did not take action
9:56
now fast forward to the fall of
9:58
twenty seventeen so about nine later.
10:00
I decided to invest in a program,
10:02
it was like a group coaching program,
10:04
that specialized in digital marketing and growing
10:07
online courses because that was my goal
10:09
at the time. And you guessed it,
10:11
Facebook ads was a part of the
10:13
conversation. Now this group coaching program was
10:16
a significant financial commitment. And I was
10:18
so glad that I took the leap
10:20
because it changed a lot in what
10:22
I was doing. But in it, I
10:25
heard about Facebook ads again. And I
10:27
remember the woman that was running the
10:29
group coaching program, her name was Melissa. I'll
10:31
never forget, she looked at me and this was
10:33
probably like, I'd been like in the program for
10:36
about a month. She looked at me and she
10:38
said, Julie, I know without a shadow of a
10:40
doubt. At that time, I was making like $15,000
10:42
a month in my course business. She goes, I
10:44
know without a shadow of a doubt, if you
10:47
put money behind Facebook ads, you could take
10:49
that 15 to 30K in like 30 days. And
10:52
I was like, BS, no, there's no way. There's
10:54
no way. And she was like, I promise you,
10:56
like, I've done it. I teach you how to
10:58
do this. Like other people have done it. And
11:00
it was just interesting. It was like, you know,
11:02
as much as people wanted to tell me that
11:04
like, even though I had this, this excuse of
11:06
like, Oh, I need more information before I can
11:08
decide or because I don't know, it was just,
11:10
it really came down to this fear of spending
11:12
the money. And also this fear that I was
11:14
making up and telling myself that for some reason,
11:16
I needed to be the one to understand it.
11:18
But it's like, I don't need to be the
11:20
one to understand how to, you know, change
11:22
the oil in my car for me to go
11:24
spend money on changing the oil in my car.
11:27
I don't need to be the one that understands
11:29
how to file my taxes to pay for someone
11:31
to file my taxes. I don't need to be
11:33
the one to understand how stocks and bonds work
11:35
to invest in the stock market. But yet I
11:38
was telling myself that I needed to be the
11:40
one to understand Facebook ads in order to invest
11:42
in them. It just, it made absolutely no sense.
11:44
And it was this fear really of spending money
11:46
that caused me to have this in
11:49
action. And so I just said, you know what? Okay,
11:51
I will do it. Like I will
11:53
just see what happens. And I said yes
11:55
to the Facebook ads fall of 2017. It
11:57
was almost like a full year from the
11:59
year. before. Now, within a year of
12:02
implementing the Facebook ads, so fall of
12:04
2017 until fall of
12:06
2018, my revenue skyrocketed from about $250,000 a year
12:08
to over $1.3 million a year. Now
12:15
of course, Facebook ads wasn't the
12:17
only reason for this, but
12:19
it did play a big part. You know,
12:21
that the Facebook ads, it helped expand my
12:23
reach. It got me in front of more
12:25
people. It allowed me to test more. It
12:27
allowed me to trust myself more because more
12:30
money was coming in, so I was getting
12:32
more confidence. The results really were way beyond
12:34
my expectations, but I couldn't help but to
12:36
think about the missed opportunities from the year
12:38
before because during that year of hesitation, I
12:41
clearly missed out on some substantial growth
12:43
in revenue. The fear of spending money
12:45
on ads in December of 2016 cost
12:48
me like a staggering $700,000,
12:53
way more than
12:55
it would have actually cost me to say yes to the ads
12:57
in 2016. Hey
12:59
friends, as we bid farewell to another incredible
13:02
year and gear up for a fresh start,
13:04
I wanted to share a game changer that
13:06
has been pivotal in my journey this year
13:08
and that is Cartra. If you are anything
13:11
like me, you know that juggling a million
13:13

13:15

13:17
not just an all-in-one business platform, but really

13:26

13:28

14:06
the code influencer that's
14:08

14:10
Trust me it's a game
14:12
changer and you're gonna be
14:14
able to elevate your game
14:16
because your success is worth
14:18
it. Since
14:20
I am all about habits and routines and goals
14:23
for the new year let's talk about healthy eating.
14:25
Now obviously this is a hot topic for so
14:27
many of us right now because I know that
14:29
so many people are looking to revamp their eating
14:32
habits in the new year but I
14:34
think so often we fall short because of
14:36
a few things. One it can be really
14:38
time-consuming to cook fresh meals every day especially
14:40
as a parent. Two it can be time-consuming
14:42
and difficult to prepare and go to the
14:44
grocery store and just have all the ingredients
14:46
that we need for the week and so
14:48
if you're anything like me what tends to
14:50
happen is that we fall back on old
14:52
habits of just ordering out all of our
14:55
meals or snacking around meals or just grabbing
14:57
whatever we find in a pantry and not
14:59
really getting our bodies the nourishment that we
15:01
need but A really simple
15:03
solution that I have found for the new
15:05
year is HelloFresh. Whether you want to save
15:08
money, eat better, or stress less, HelloFresh is
15:10
here to help you do all three.
15:12
Imagine having farm fresh ingredients and
15:14
chef crafted recipes delivered to your
15:17
doorstep. about
15:20
HelloFresh is that everything comes pre-portioned right to
15:22
your doorstep which is a huge perk for
15:25
me because of the time savings and there's
15:27
less hassle and less wasted food. Another perk
15:29
with me because with two small kids in
15:31
the house it is so easy for us
15:34
to waste food and that drives me crazy
15:36
and even if there are nights where you
15:38
barely have any time to cook what you
15:41
can do is check out their lineup of
15:43
15-minute recipes which are amazing. These are great
15:45
for those nights when you're just trying to
15:47
catch up on all the duties and you
15:50
just Need a healthy but quick option.
15:52
I Made a really good chicken dish the
15:54
other night and they also have some good
15:56
vegan options. My Husband is also gluten free
15:58
so they have something. For everybody regardless
16:01
of what your dietary preferences may
16:03
be. And this is Huge for
16:05
so many of us as I
16:07
know. Now here is the big
16:09
news. Hello Fresh, understand the breakfast
16:11
game and how important getting protein
16:13
first thing in the morning is.
16:15

18:31
I'm not a believer in having major regrets,
18:34
even though that is a very tough pill
18:36
to swallow, especially now looking back on what
18:38
I know and knowing that in 2016, the
18:41
landscape was nowhere near as competitive as it
18:43
is now, but there's still way more ample
18:45
opportunity now because even Facebook ads are more
18:47
sophisticated. The strategies behind what we can learn
18:50
is more sophisticated. The mentorship and support and
18:52
coaching and all of that that we can
18:54
get nowadays is way more sophisticated than it
18:56
was in 2016. So even
18:58
though it was a tough pill to swallow,
19:00
when I realized all that potential income that
19:03
was left on the table, I remember saying
19:05
to myself, I will never do this again.
19:07
I will never let the fear
19:09
of spending money stop me from growing. I will
19:11
never let the fear of spending money stop me
19:13
from actually stepping into what it is that I
19:15
say that I want. I will never let the
19:17
fear of spending money or making all these other
19:19
dumb excuses that I was making. I need to
19:21
know how to do this or now's not the
19:23
right time or I need to try to figure
19:26
this out first myself and waste a bunch of
19:28
other time before I do it. Like that's just such,
19:30
such small thinking. And I'll tell you, joining
19:32
that coaching group was such a turning point for
19:34
me because it allowed me to be in an
19:36
environment in a community of other people that did
19:39
not let me think small. Just even by them
19:41
Choosing not to think small, it gave
19:44
me the courage to stop thinking so
19:46
small. And So suddenly the fear that
19:48
I had around believing in myself and
19:50
trusting myself and investing in my business
19:52
and spending money where it could move
19:54
the needle, it began to dissipate as
19:56
I really started to gain a clear
19:58
understanding of how to. Strategies work,
20:00
How marketing works, How had work,
20:03
How brand strategy works effectively. So
20:05
it helps me start to really
20:07
change my mindset around spending money
20:09
because it wasn't just about spending
20:11
money, it was about investing wisely
20:14
in my business to see be
20:16
exponential returns that I said the
20:18
I so badly wanted. And so
20:20
I think the key take away
20:23
here is this fear. Particularly, the
20:25
fear of spending money can be
20:27
way more of a costly adversary
20:29
than. A costly protection. And it's essential
20:31
to distinguish between alone spending obviously and
20:33
strategic investment. But how you distinguish between
20:35
that is not by not taking action,
20:37
is actually by testing things out, Pressing
20:40
yourself, seen what works, and then you're
20:42
gonna find out. Okay, this type of
20:44
spending, the set of investment is not
20:46
for me. it's not moving the needle
20:48
that this one is, but you're never
20:50
gonna give yourself a gift of distinguishing
20:52
between us to think if you never
20:54
take any kind of action if you
20:56
never invest in anything. So in my
20:58
personal case, it was investing in the
21:00
education. In the program in the guidance.
21:02
That. Pave the way for me to
21:04
make informed decisions that ultimately multiplied my
21:07
earnings very, very quickly. My A. I
21:09
mean, that was a huge jump for
21:11
me. So now let's talk about where
21:13
to invest. I think from my own
21:15
experience, there are really three main areas
21:18
the I focus on in each plays
21:20
a crucial role in the success of
21:22
my business. First, there's tools. Specifically.
21:24
Software that can streamline processes. Because
21:26
I run an online business to
21:28
their team, investing in people in
21:30
the process is to support them
21:32
and then three. It's coaching. Learning
21:34
from knows, but I trust. So
21:36
first will talk about the tools.
21:38
Specifically software that can streamline processes.
21:40
I feel like in today's fast
21:42
paced is a landscape. Having the
21:44
right tools can truly make or
21:47
break your efficiency. So you first
21:49
have to put yourself in a
21:51
network in an environment of people
21:53
and strategies that understand. which type of
21:55
software is the best for whatever it is
21:57
the mean if you run a business like
21:59
mine you want to consider software that automates
22:01
any kind of repetitive tasks, which allow you
22:04
to focus on more strategic aspects of your
22:06
business. So you wanna think about the tools
22:08
that you're currently using or the tools that
22:10
you currently might need. Are there areas in
22:12
your day-to-day business, areas in your workflow that
22:15
could benefit from any kind of automation or
22:17
process? Investing in tools can save so much
22:19
time, which then increases your productivity. And that
22:21
is a direct investment in the growth of
22:23
your business. Because the second that you start
22:26
to get some of that time back, and
22:28
I'm telling you, this is why, module one
22:30
of the brand accelerator, we go deep in
22:32
this. We talk about time management and boundaries
22:34
and efficiency. And I'm gonna be talking about
22:37
it also in the bootcamp that I'm doing
22:39
next week for free. So if you wanna
22:41
join that, just go to julysolomon.net/bootcamp to get
22:43
all of the details. But if you just
22:45
start to just notate and pay attention to
22:48
how you spend your time each day, even
22:50
if it's like three minutes here doing some
22:52
repetitive task, or four minutes there doing something
22:54
that somebody else could have done, or five
22:56
minutes there doing something that's repetitive, that little
22:59
bit of time adds up real quickly.
23:01
And before you know it, you're
23:03
spending hours a week doing repetitive
23:05
things that are not helping you
23:07
get out of the weeds. And
23:09
so streamlining processes and getting this
23:11
leveraged into your business and into
23:13
your routine and making this a
23:15
habit from the get-go is going
23:17
to be such a massive time
23:19
saver and moneymaker for you in
23:21
the future. So the second is
23:23
team, investing in people and processes.
23:25
Both the individuals and the processes
23:27
that support them is what I
23:30
say makeup team. Building a strong team
23:32
is fundamental in scaling your business. And
23:34
I could do a whole other podcast episode just on
23:37
building a team. Now, the biggest issue that I see
23:39
people face is that they try
23:41
to basically hire interns or these just
23:43
part-time, menial VAs, and they pay them
23:45
very, very little. They pay them $10,
23:47
$15, $20 an hour, but
23:51
they expect executive level output and performance. That
23:53
ain't gonna happen from an intern. That ain't
23:55
gonna happen from somebody that you're paying $10
23:57
an hour. So it's not just about hiring.
24:00
people. It's not just about, you know,
24:02
trying to pay somebody to check a
24:04
task off a box. It's about hiring
24:06
someone that can support you in doing
24:08
what you need to do to drive
24:10
revenue to your brand and business. And
24:12
then it's about creating a culture and
24:14
a process that empowers them to excel.
24:16
There's a saying that I heard years
24:18
ago that I want to share with
24:21
you today. It's kind of an acronym.
24:23
It's a weird one, but just bear
24:25
with me. It's FRY-YAYAYAY. And it stands
24:27
for if you find yourself, okay, right
24:29
right right, okay, if you find yourself
24:32
repeating yourself, record
24:36
yourself, or replace yourself.
24:38
If you find yourself repeating
24:41
yourself, record yourself,
24:43
or replace yourself. What this means is that
24:46
you could record yourself if you're doing something
24:48
repetitive. You could record yourself whether that be
24:50
in a loom or some kind of video
24:52
and that recording could
24:54
turn into a process or
24:57
something that's automated that you could give to someone else to
24:59
do. You record it once. You teach them how to do
25:01
it. Show them how to do it. Show them how you
25:03
want it done. And then you give it to them and
25:05
then they're done. Or you could replace yourself, which means you
25:08
actually replace yourself with a person that could do what it
25:10
is that you're doing or system or software that could do
25:12
it. So I love that. It
25:15
always really helps me kind of reframe, wait,
25:17
am I actually spending my time wisely? Now
25:19
again, as I said, I could go into
25:21
a whole other episode about team and maybe
25:23
I will actually have previously on this podcast
25:25
so we could do it again. But
25:27
just for today, I want you to consider your
25:29
current team or the team that you aspire to
25:31
build. And I want you to ask yourself, are
25:33
there gaps in skills,
25:37
skill set, or processes that need
25:39
refinement? Because investing in your dream team, I
25:42
promise you will lead to
25:44
increased productivity, innovation, and
25:46
a positive work environment. Now note that I
25:48
said your dream team, not just
25:51
like any Ojoshmo off the street, in turn,
25:53
someone you're paying $10 now, but your dream
25:55
team. So remember, your team is a key
25:57
asset in achieving your business goals. Now this
25:59
doesn't mean that you can't find someone who's
26:01
like a unicorn, who's magical, who wants to like
26:03
work their way up. But again, that's a lot
26:05
of time and energy on you. Like you don't
26:07
hire someone to then have to spend your time
26:10
training them to do their job. Like they should
26:12
come in knowing what to do based on what
26:14
it is that you've hired them for. Now they
26:16
may need to learn some like ins and outs
26:18
of your business, right? But you don't hire someone
26:20
to do a job and then you have to
26:23
then spend time and money teaching them how to
26:25
do the job. So you have to remember that.
26:27
That is key, key, key, key, key. Now the
26:30
next thing is coaches and learning from those
26:32
that we trust. I have said it so
26:34
many times over the years on this podcast.
26:36
The fastest way to success is that you
26:38
have got to find someone
26:40
who has successfully done what it is
26:42
that you're trying to do and go
26:44
learn from them. I cannot stress
26:47
the importance of learning from trusted
26:49
sources, trusted coaches, because
26:52
in this ever evolving landscape
26:55
of online business and marketing and
26:57
branding, staying informed is essential.
27:00
And staying informed by a trusted source is
27:02
essential. So whether that is through a course,
27:05
a program, a
27:07
mentorship, networking, coaching, learning from those
27:09
who have walked the path before
27:12
us is so invaluable. Talk
27:14
about a time collapse. Talk about speeding up efficiency
27:16
and money and success and revenue. That is where
27:18
the magic happens. And it really goes back to
27:20
the story that I should earlier about the Facebook
27:23
ads. Like I was learning from a trusted source
27:25
who had already been through that. She could say
27:27
with such confidence, Julie, if you go and invest
27:29
in ads, you're gonna double your revenue in 30
27:31
days. You know how she knew that? Because she
27:33
did that. And she had taught so many others
27:36
how to do that. She was like, there's a
27:38
process here, there's a strategy. But once you learn
27:40
it, it's gonna work. You just have to do
27:42
it with the right people. That's why trusted sources.
27:44
And I know a lot of you have been
27:46
burned in the past because we've talked about that. A lot
27:49
of you have been burned. Oh, I tried to work with
27:51
a Facebook ads person and they burned me or I signed
27:53
up for this course and it was not what I expected.
27:55
And I did this and it was crap. And it's like,
27:57
yeah, that happens. It happens to all of
27:59
us. I've worked with Facebook ads people
28:01
who are amazing and I've worked with Facebook
28:03
ads people who were straight up con artists.
28:06
It doesn't mean that I stopped running ads.
28:08
I've invested in courses that were transformative and
28:10
I've invested in courses that literally just collected
28:12
digital dust in my inbox because they were
28:14
crap. It doesn't stop me from investing in
28:16
courses. What it allows me to
28:18
do is learn better so I invest better
28:20
the next time. So with that to say,
28:22
I want you to reflect on your learning
28:25
journey from where we are today. Are
28:27
there areas where you could benefit from more guidance? Are
28:29
there places where you may be resisting or holding yourself
28:31
back or saying, you know, I've tried to do
28:33
this once before and it didn't work out or
28:35
I've tried to do this three times and it
28:37
didn't work out because maybe you weren't investing in
28:39
the right people or the right processes or the
28:42
right agency. So is there something that you're keeping
28:44
yourself from really moving forward on because you've been
28:46
burned in the past? Is it a
28:48
trust issue for you? Because investing in coaches
28:50
is not just about gaining knowledge. It's about
28:52
gaining insights from real world
28:54
experiences. It's about having mentors who
28:56
can provide true guidance. Share
28:59
the pitfalls to avoid and inspire you to reach new
29:01
heights. And so you just got to go find
29:03
your people and just know there's going to be bumps along the
29:05
way. Yes, there's going to be money
29:07
that you invest in that it doesn't quite work
29:09
out, but you're like, okay, great. Now what? It's
29:12
like, okay, will you either learn or you
29:14
win, but you don't lose. So see it
29:16
all as an investment of your growth and
29:19
evolution of your growth. If it worked out
29:21
perfectly the first time every single time, would
29:23
we really grow? No, we would probably get
29:25
complacent and stop taking action, right? Because it
29:27
was because it would work so perfectly. So
29:29
with that to say, before we wrap up
29:31
today's episode, I want to invite you to
29:33
consider what would be the best investments for
29:35
you in this season of your time of
29:37
your energy, of your money, of your resources.
29:39
And here's something exciting for you. The free
29:42
live brand building bootcamp that I have that's
29:44
starting next week. You can go to juliesolomon.net
29:46
slash bootcamp to get the details. I'm here
29:48
to tell you this isn't just another bootcamp
29:50
promising quick fixes. I don't do
29:52
that. It's a quick, but really
29:55
immersive experience designed to help you navigate
29:57
the terrain of brand growth and evolution
29:59
and development. So you're going to get to join
30:01
me for several days, starting on February
30:03
14th. It's my Valentine's Day
30:05
gift to you. Well, we're going to work
30:07
together step by step by step, you and
30:09
me re-clarifying your brand strategy and removing all
30:12
of the obstacles and overwhelm so you can
30:14
actually create the sustainable business that you've been
30:16
striving to create this year. And you may
30:18
be wondering, okay, why is this free, Julie?
30:21
Well, first off, I believe in serving the
30:23
greater good. I've said it once and I'll
30:25
say it a million times more. I love
30:28
giving my best stuff away for free. That's why I
30:30
have this podcast. That's why I'm on my seventh year
30:32
of doing this podcast week after week after
30:35
week. I've never missed a week, guys, in
30:37
seven years. And it's because I believe in
30:39
serving up the best that I can for
30:41
free. Now, while, of course, I do run
30:43
a business, so there are paid offerings and
30:46
there will be more to come. The Brand
30:48
Accelerator program is a paid offering, but this
30:50
bootcamp is free because I genuinely believe in
30:52
giving away quality content for free. It's part
30:54
of my strategy for building my
30:56
own brand because I want you to come into
30:59
my world and decide for yourself what
31:01
it is that you need because I don't know
31:03
what's best for you, but you do. So
31:05
let me invite you in to this free,
31:07
awesome experience and then you get to test
31:09
it out. You get to decide if
31:11
you like my coaching style, if you like how
31:13
I flow, if you like how I show up
31:16
in the world, you can take what you like,
31:18
leave the rest, or you can stay and continue
31:20
on the journey with me. But at least the
31:22
first step, the only step that we have to
31:24
worry about today is just the free bootcamp. So
31:27
if you're looking for more clarity, direction, and strategy
31:29
that extends beyond a podcast
31:31
episode, you can head on over
31:33
to juliesolomon.net/bootcamp. I can't wait
31:35
to see you there. It's going to
31:38
be impactful, jam packed, amazing. Our community
31:40
is so gorgeous. I can't stress how
31:42
incredible and supportive and amazing this community
31:45
is. Yes, even in my free communities,
31:47
it is so transformative. And remember, this
31:49
is your chance to not just hear
31:52
about something on a 20-ish
31:54
minute podcast, but to actually
31:57
start implementing the changes together
31:59
live and. in real time. So
32:01
if that sounds like your style, again,
32:03
just juliesolomon.net/ bootcamp head on over
32:05
there, save your free seat and I will see
32:07
you there my friends. And with that, I will
32:09
see you on the next episode. Same time, same
32:11
place. Stay curious, stay open, stay
32:13
beautiful. I'll see you then. As
32:15
always, thank you so much for joining me
32:18
today and every week here
32:20
on the influencer podcast. If you're wanting to
32:22
dive deeper into the topics and discussions that
32:24
we have here, I would
32:26
