Eric Weinstein is a mathematician, economist, physicist, and managing  director of Thiel Capital. He formed the "intellectual dark web" which  is a loosely assembled group of public intellectuals including Sam  Harris, Jordan Peterson, Steven Pinker, Joe Rogan, Michael Shermer, and a  few others.
