Join us as we discuss the case of Brian Daniels. In this two part deep dive we discuss Brian's life as a student, an artist , a poet and a sweet, good natured child. Brian was passionate about studying art as he was for Egyptology, something he fixated on growing up and made a living with as an adult. Brian lived a good life even though he had some challenges . Brian was diagnosed with schizophrenia and to the best of our knowledge was given appropriate treatment including medications. With the help of his Mother who was also his primary caregiver . Brian had a full life. But as in most cases we discuss things took a turn in his home in a fire where he sustained severe burns which resulted in a lengthy hospitalization and the need for more constant care. Once out of the hospital Brian's mother carried out her role as his caregiver, but sadly she passed away not long after. Leaving Brian grieving his mother's death and needing the help of a new caregiver. This was a dark period for Brian who had relied on his mother from childhood for support, love and the care that he needed. We end Part One just before Brian begins looking for a new caregiver and just before the that will eventually lead to his death began to arise.
