Jason has produced and starred in international performances at venues including New York City’s Lincoln Center and The Palace Theatre on London’s West End. Jason won the Jury’s Award for Outstanding Choreography at the First Irish Theatre Festival 2013 and his work received the critical acclaim of various publications while showing at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2013. Hammerstep’s appearance on America’s Got Talent in 2013 received a standing ovation from the judges. Jason also co-wrote, co-choreographed and produced the short film INDIGO GREY: The Passage that was featured in over 35 international film festivals and won 10 festival awards. As former resident of the New Museum’s NEW INC incubator program and 2017-2018 resident artist of the Nobel Prize-winning institution Bell Labs, Jason co-choreographed and produced the first live production of sci-fi dance-action theatre show INDIGO GREY: The Micah Grey Experiment, which premiered Spring 2018 at MANA contemporary in Jersey City with a four week sold-out run.
Most recently, Jason has been choreographing with two-time Tony award winner Bill T. Jones as they develop the new musical theatre show Paradise Square for Broadway.
