Ari Afsar is a singer, songwriter, storyteller, and rockin’ activist!

Ari is the co-founder of Until We Do It and musical composer of Jeannette, both of which required her to courageously break the mold of social norms. Ari has played Eliza in Chicago-based Hamilton, performed on American Idol, and represented California in Miss America.

We get into:

  • The power of using ART to change CULTURE and using culture to change POLICY.
  • The courage to SHIFT and PIVOT in our career.
  • BELIEVING in yourself: Faking it ‘til you make it.
  • SELF TALK: What we say to ourselves to move through fear.
  • What it’s like to walk on stage competing for Miss America in a bikini and high heels.
  • Ari shares with us how she became a composer for her new musical, Jeannette, a story about the first woman in congress before women had the right to vote.
