Last week's mock referendum held at the University of Glasgow resulted in nearly two thirds of students voting 'no' to Scottish independence.

NUS Scotland president Robin Parker has criticised the Scottish Labour party for comments made by deputy leader Anas Sarwar on university tuition fees. Labour MSP Neil Findlay has defended the party.

On the show this week, student politics editor Callum Leslie briefs The Edinburgh Journal's editor-in-chief Sean Gibson on the outcome of the Edinburgh University Students' Association (EUSA)'s recent referendum, potential problems with the current democratic process and their implications for students.

Stewart Maxwell MSP, convener of the Scottish parliamentary Education and Culture Committee, speaks exclusively to The Journal about education funding in Scotland, as a rift forms between Maxwell and the committee's deputy convener, Neil Findlay MSP (interviewed in Episode 1).

On the more serious side of things, Michael Mawdsley recounts how the story of Chris P. Bacon, a paraplegic pig in a wheelchair, affected him.

Finally, our mystery guest columnist Edinburgh Anonymous speaks out about a censorship scandal engulfing The Journal.
