On today's episode we speak to Buck Nelson. Born and raised in Minnesota and growing up making maple syrup, Buck became a forestry firefighter and eventually a smoke jumper. He has hiked the entire Pacific Continental Trail, the entire Appalachian Trail, biked from the east to west coast of the United States, and canoed the Mississippi from Minnesota to the Gulf... among other epic adventures. And yes, he lives in a cabin in Alaska. So today, we hear specifically about his canoeing voyage of the Mississippi.
