Georgeann Stamper Brown, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist, mental health advocate, and non-profit volunteer. She is currently in private practice at TrueNorth Counseling and Development in Lexington, Kentucky, with a focus on treating anxiety. She has worked as a clinical psychologist in various settings for the past 20 years, including helping to start Transylvania University's on-campus counseling center in 2007 through 2016. She has served in multiple roles promoting mental health advocacy through the Kentucky Psychological Association, including chairing the past nine Psychology Days for psychologists at Kentucky’sCapitol in Frankfort. She also serves in various board positions for community nonprofit organizations (school and faith-based), including Erin’s Hope forFriends, Kentucky, a non-profit organization helping to provide social opportunities for teens on the autism spectrum.
