Cam Aethera is an astrologer, an academic anthropologist, and an educator passionate about bringing more nuance, context, and inclusivity into the study and practice of astrology. In 2020, Cam founded The Scope Scoop, which has been a home for her to translate and interpret what's going on in the cosmos, engage with clients and students, and disseminate her unique approach to astrology that combines her academic background with her astrological training: Anthropological Astrology.

Cam is a certified Moonologer, a student of Hellenistic Astrology, a Ph.D. student in the Anthropology of Spirituality, with her focus research on Astrology.However, Cam primarily focuses on sharing free astrological learning content but also has exclusive additional bonus content offered to Patrons.
