My guest this week has gone from break dancing, to a hip-hop dance company at Princeton, to a aerospace engineering degree, to three Broadway productions, to a kundalini yoga instructor to stand-up comedian – a journey largely designed by his desire to have…um interactions with females.

Bill Dawes is an undeniable smarty pants who has used that intelligence to navigate through some crazy twists and turns. Amongst all the successes and great stories from his career is a childhood he describes as muted and lacking direction – while he also battled through a severe lisp and speech impediment, an emotionally absent father and an acholic mother – who he loves dearly to this day.

Once Bill found his true calling things kinda took off for him - As a comedian he has performed in over 12 countries, including New Zealand, South Africa, the Philippines, and USO tours of Iraq. Kuwait and Afghanistan. As an actor he appeared in dozens of TV shows, including “Special Victims Unit,” “Elementary,” “Criminal Minds,” “Kevin Can Wait,” “Rizzoli and Isles,” “Royal Pains,” “The Following,” “Sex and the City,” “Damages,” and many more.
