He has also built corporate development, sales and marketing teams, and advisory boards, taking companies from the back-of-the-napkin stage to successful exits. 

Wilson is also a director of KidSport Calgary and a member of the board of advisors for Alberta IoT, where he is working to grow the Province of Alberta into a global center of excellence for emerging technologies.
