Like a FitBit for horses, SeeHorse wearable collects a horse’s vital signs and sends that information to a tablet, smart phone or other device, alerting owners, veterinarians or others when something is not quite right.

SeeHorse can be worn on the horse at all times, allowing for 24/7 monitoring of the horse’s health, whereabouts and well-being. Is your horse moving around enough during turn out or is he standing at the hay pile all day? How is your horse handling the trailer ride to the show or a new barn? Is your conditioning program effective?

SeeHorse has many different features that are beneficial to anyone involved in the horse industry. Horse owners can be alerted to signs of distress or discomfort, pregnancy alerts (coming soon!) and whether or not their horse is in their paddock or stall. Competitors can keep track of their mounts fitness levels during conditioning and competition. All of this data is easily tracked and can be used for fine tuning training programs, assisting veterinarians in diagnosis, or just to keep track of how your horse is doing. Since the SeeHorse is connected to a network, the data that the device collects can be shared with almost anyone you choose!

In her interview with London Horse Sports, SeeHorse co-founder Jessica Roberts discusses the product and how it is used and she gives us a walkthrough of how to use the app, what features it has and what is in the works.
