This is a special two-part episode of The MADE SOUTH Podcast.
First, we visit with Chef Jason McConnell.
Chef Jason McConnell
Jason is the chef and owner of Red Pony, one of our favorite restaurants in Franklin, Tennessee. He also operates several other great establishments underneath the umbrella of McConnell Hospitality Group.
During our visit, Jason talks about what it’s like to cook dinner at The James Beard House in New York City, his advice for would-be restaurateurs, Holler & Dash (the new restaurant concept he helped develop for Cracker Barrel), and his plans for celebrating the 10th anniversary of Red Pony.
In the second part of this episode we pay a quick visit to Kevin Griffin, lead singer and guitarist for the New Orleans rock band Better Than Ezra, and co-founder of Pilgrimage Music Festival. We chat about Pilgrimage’s 2016 lineup.
