Since we've just gone through Mothers Day here, Dawn takes Taby down a path exploring Fetal-maternal microchimerism and many, many offshoots. 

No, we're not talking about the mythical Chimeras, there will be no Hippogryffs found here. 

Today we discuss the links and effects that occur between mother and child, both during gestation, and long after the child has been born, on a cellular level. This is more than poetry, this is science. 

We discuss literally healing hearts, and a little of breaking them. How little boys can heal their mothers brains in old age and how grandmothers might be saving the lives of grandchildren they might never meet.
