Sophie Kjærvik is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Injury and Violence Prevention Program (IVPP) at Virginia Commonwealth University specialising in reducing anger, aggression and violence as well as previous expertise studying narcissistic behaviour and its links to aggression.
Anger can be an issue for many whether it be road rage or somebody cutting in line. Men also generally have more violent tendencies so it was great to have Sophie on to discuss how people can better regulate their anger.
Sophie aims to help develop effective intervention strategies to empower individuals to change and manage their aggressive impulses toward others and advance existing theories.
