An immersive experience, with excellent narration. A solid mystery, but also a scary story involving bullying, assault and more that is really emotional to listen to. To think that people act that way, I´m so sorry because I know it happens all the time. The murder mystery almost becomes a background story for the overarching story of a hostile and injust community that terrorizes it´s people. Nevertheless, I´m hooked and waiting for more of the story to unfold. There´s this underlying feeling that maybe it´s not human, that what lives in the caves...

One of the most immersive stories I've listened to. The sound production is as professional as they came, and the actor's do their share of carrying the story too. Great drama and plenty of suspense to tease you along, but very, very dark. Will be disquieting for some.

Genuinely scary

A moving and in some places, very dark, podcast in which a lot of the horror (as in all the best horror) comes from what humans will do to each other. Not an easy listen at all, but a good one.

You can hear every dollar and every hour they spent producing this series.

Well. The story itself was solid but the in the face mysticyty of it, in my opinion, spoiled it. The sound is great, especially when you listen in headphones, overall acting is okay. If there were more elements of a southern gothic and vague esoterics, it'd have been more memorable and enchanting. As in we will never know what the actual evil is, and whether people are capable of such things.
