How old is too old? I'm not talking about people here; this is about pop culture. Yesterday in a meeting one of our managers mentioned an old movie. Some staffers looked puzzled, so the manager apologized for his outdated reference. I realize, in our office, we have people aged 20 to 70. But if you mention a movie from the 1970s that's had eight sequels, is that outdated? There must be a rule here...
