The hiatus is (temporarily) over! Matt and Wright return for an epic one-off Summer Movie Spectacular. For the first half, it’s business as usual as the guys catch everyone up on the #12Films2016 project they’ve been working on since the show’s initial run wrapped in January, while also going over the myriad of films they’ve watched in the 4 months since, and weighing in on some of the big movie news stories of the past few weeks. Then, the show’s second half kicks in along with all the alcohol. Ostensibly, the intention was to provide a look at the wide range of films coming to theaters this Summer. But if you’ve ever listened to The Match Cut before, you know things have long since fallen apart by the time we get there. Enjoy!
