Are you Happy? What does Happiness mean to you?
They say ‘Joy’ is an attitude that defies circumstances &
That ‘Happiness’ is a feeling or emotional response based on circumstances.
I wanted to open a dialogue about Happiness itself. Too often do we get so caught up in the moments, caught up in comparison or lost in the sauce, we lose our presence in experiencing happiness in its totality.
The purpose of me focusing on happiness and not Joy is because I think often times, the feeling isn’t given enough mindfulness that some people may not even know what it is that makes them happy.
The ability to live your life in Joy is truly a blessing, but i believe to help more people find that Joy within themselves, they must take the time to reflect on the things that make them the most happy.
As you explore what makes you happy, you can nurture and evolve that feeling and continue onwards in your life making that feeling a constant for you. Not to negate negative feelings, but to truly appreciate your positive ones.
Happiness can’t be defined for everyone the same, but I’m curious to what makes you happy? You’d be surprised how simple it can be, or how unorthodox it may be. But whatever it is, its YOURS.
