Hello, Long time listener here and I really like the show. Great work!On the flipside I must say I'm a bit baffled by this episode. First of all, I don't understand what creating Web API's have to do with Web Development? It's typical backend stuff. It has nothing to do with web development, which in the modern .NET land (if we stick to that) would be ASP.NET MVC or preferably Blazor. Web API's can be consumed by all kinds of applications (web, desktop, server, embedded, ...) and is basically just a way of exposing some functionality over a HTTP transport layer. That's the only "web" part of it.Secondly, I'm not convinced starting with an API is the best way to learn .NET development. An API (as the name suggest) is just an "UI" for machines. Creating an API gives you nothing. There is a whole system underneath and learning how to create that is the core of learning how to be a developer. The UI or API above it is just the tip of the iceberg. In a properly architected application, all you would have in a API method would be something like "return await mediator.Send(...);" plus maybe some mappings and filler code.
