It’s Mother’s Day and the Mayor better known for her vanity campaign of ” black girl magic” and “A Mayor named Keisha” couldn’t resist the opportunity to hijack the brutal death of a young  man the world now knows as Ahmaud Arbery.

Perched upon her usual disgraceful throne of divisive rhetoric, once again, the “mayor named Keisha” has blown up the bridge to unity in an effort to take a swipe at President Trump. A few years in office has proven that she too, like several of her predecessors, favors the oldest play in the political book, especially in the South, to  stir tensions in an effort to secure her spot on a doomed Presidential ticket. The race card.

It is truly unfortunate that we cannot seem to protect or otherwise secure justice’s seat at the table of due process without FIRST rallying around our national sins of the past. It’s like the starter kit to every politician’s conversation who finds their irrelevance too much to bare. I get it. It’s just not useful. At all.

In what appears to be a case of vicious felony murder, the nation’s eyes are steady on Georgia. Mainly because the young man gunned down in the street is black. I say that not to diminish the gravity of the case, rather to ask a necessary question: Is justice really blind?  Every thread on every social media outlet makes my case. Again, I get it. I submit to you also,  this particular county has a history of systemic swampiness that needs to be drained, immediately. Both whites and blacks have been robbed of justice in the Glynn County justice system.

This show is an equal opportunity outing of bad actors. From the GOP to the DNC, black and white- the  cause of justice has not only been muted, but stripped of her blindfold and stands naked in the streets of division to the detriment of us all. ALL. When do we – ALL the people- show up for one another in the cause of justice?

When is mob rule no longer useful in the pursuit of justice? Why can’t our own legislature rightfully weigh justice? Why is a sitting legislator free on this Mother’s Day instead of answering for why he allowed someone’s son to lie in a ditch and die a slow death instead of following due process of reporting an accident? Why? His white privilege?

Would it matter to you if you knew the Governor – also accused by ” a Mayor named Keisha” of not caring about black people when considering the reopening of the state, championed legislation this session that would have granted the GBI originating jurisdiction in cases just like this one to avoid waiting for an invite from off the rails law enforcement?

I’ll tell you who stood in his way. Takes an evader of justice to kill legislation that would have been beneficial to the Arbery family and others.

Does the allegedly rogue DA in Glynn County or a stacked grand jury have the final say in the pursuit of justice in the case of Mr. Arbery? Is this really a white v black thing or just sh*tty people doing what sh*tty people do?

This show is not for the faint of heart. I’m calling folks out for the armchair legal eagling and not engaging in actual dialogue when given the chance. I’m asking you to drop the racial blame game, the white guilt and all the other things that prohibit justice from being pursued and exercised.

It’s not enough to EXPOSE injustice – sorry Senator Grassely.  It’s not enough to march for your skin color only.
