Black Abalone is one of seven abalone species found in California's intertidalwaters. But, due to dramatic population declines as a result of overfishing and withering syndrome, Black Abalones have been classified as critically endangered by the IUCN. Cassandra Brooks interviews Amy Henry, an intern looking for Black Abalones in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and Point Reyes National Seashore.
