Welcome to The Night Keep. This is a very special episode wherein I get to speak with one of my musical influences and heroes: Council Of Nine. Council of Nine is the musical offering of Max Olivier and I have been a fan of his work for a couple of years. I fell down a wabbit hole and discovered the Cryo Chamber Dark Ambient label, and one of the first albums I listened to was “Dhakma†by Council of Nine. Along with having a very ominous and awesome name, Council of Nine (and all of the music on Cryo Chamber, as a matter of fact) focuses on cinematic dark ambience, evoking moods and imagery through soundscapes.
