I drove to Louisville to meet Rex Ecarma, and it was great in person conversation, we haven't seen each other for years! I've been following Rex and his leading the Louisville Varsity Men's Tennis squad to great heights, becoming a solid Div. 1 program, and defeating schools of great traditions and winning  programs. Rex talks about his early struggles as a coach trying to build a program and it was very insightful. Rex has two boys who are very good juniors, ranked very highly in US junior tennis, I suspect they will be receiving athletic scholarships and looking to the pro tour in the near future. Great tennis, great father, great coach! Well done, Rex!
