Join your host, Ashleigh King, as she speaks with Laura Martinez, Thomas Peggs and Tony Okonkwo about the value of mentioning and mentoring relationships.

Laura is an MBA graduate and alumni of the Business School. She volunteers and dedicates many of her hours to supporting current students at the Business School. Hear about her background, who her original mentor was, what mentoring means to her and how she finds being a mentor.

Thomas is studying a current student studying his Master’s in Banking and Finance, he is also Laura’s mentee. He discusses his journey and how having a mentor has helped him with the transition in his studies and career development prospects.

You’ll also hear Thomas and Laura chat about their mentoring journey, how they found each other via NCL Spark and what they each get out of the mentoring relationship.

Lastly, Tony is a current Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) student at Newcastle University Business School.
