This is a special episode dedicated to all the amazing first responders out there that are doing their best to keep us all safe. As I shared in a previous episode I have been diagnosed with PTSD and am working at recovering from it. I’ve been learning a lot about it and how to deal with it in a positive way. I’ve come up 7 tips that can help you. And you don’t have to be a first responder to benefit from them.
Stephanie Rourke Jackson is a personal coach who has been on the show before. She joins me to give her two cents as a coach and why she thinks that these tips are important to add into your life. These are very simple tips that anyone can use to improve their mental well being.
If you are in crisis, please reach out and get some help. Even if it’s just talking to a friend. This life is worth living. I know that some days are harder than others, but don’t give up on it. I'm still working my own demons out, but I feel I'm on the road to recovery. You can too.
