While Winter Solstice is a time to take stock of what we have within us and brew ourselves in the dark, Yule is the celebrating of the birth, the revolution of light and anticipation of what we are birthing.  Winter Solstice is the time when we are being asked to prepare to leave behind the comfort of the womb space in which we are accustomed as we grow towards light.
