This week on The Panhandle! With Crystal Boyles, we head over to Blossom Lane Farm to talk to Jonalyn Carver. Jonalyn Started this flower farm almost three years ago with the goal to build a business with her husband after his career in the military, grow beautiful local flowers 💐, and (like all other businesses) make a profit! 💵. The Business is coming along well, and has begun to sell to most of the florists in the area regularly. 

But the business has had its struggles from Mother Nature and COVID alike. 2020 brought the virus 🦠, along with several hurricanes 🌊🌪⛈ that proved to be difficult for the budding business. Despite the adversity, the farm was able to innovate and even thrive in the difficult circumstances. Now, Jonalyn says, there is a need for more businesses like hers - and she is willing to help anyone that wants to start! 

Like every other business - Jonalyn has to deal with the risks associated with entrepreneurship - but she says its a rewarding payoff.
