What does it look like to develop a friendship with someone who may be different from you? In some way? Does it cause you to grow socially and intellectually? And if so, how? For our very first interview in the "Unlikely Friendship" series, we are joined by Penn Seniors in the College, Laila Shadid and David Garnick. Here, they explain their friendship to us, why it is unlikely, and what they have learned from each other. By bravely entering into hard conversations.
