0:38

always, Sat Tanda Moss, and

0:40

we got a special guest, Cody

0:43

Barden. Tody, we appreciate you

0:45

coming on the show. All right, man, How

0:47

we like to start off all our shows, we

0:50

ask our guests their

0:52

top three and Tanna and we let Tanna ask

0:54

this question. This healthy conversation is

0:56

presented by Signa Healthcare.

0:58

This is my question already, I got feeling

1:01

a little tense because I got two linebackers on the Cody,

1:05

give me your top three linebackers

1:08

of all time. They don't have to be politically

1:11

correct when it comes to someone else's favorites.

1:14

Your your favorite, your top.

1:15

Three, Well, that's a tough one.

1:18

Top three.

1:20

Oh, I would say

1:23

Luke Keiley.

1:25

Luke, Yeah. Let him growing up, heck of a

1:27

player.

1:28

Bobby Wagner, Yeah, watching

1:31

him for a long time.

1:33

These more guys that I watched growing up, you.

1:34

Know, yeah, yeah, uh huh, gosh.

1:38

I don't know. The third, I would

1:40

say, either Ray

1:44

you're up there.

1:45

Oh, appreciate it. You just got to say

1:47

that because I'm sitting by right here.

1:49

Either you are all right, I

1:52

don't know, probably probably say.

1:54

Ray Lewis Lewis. I mean, it's it's it's interesting.

1:58

So Luke, Luke phenomenal. But you played with Bobby?

2:01

What was it like, Like, Man, this is a

2:03

guy grew up watching. He went

2:05

to Utah State. You went to Utah, so

2:08

obviously you know from that part of the country.

2:11

What was it like playing with Hell?

2:13

It was?

2:14

It was cool. Especially when I got drafted there. I

2:16

was like, O, yeah, I'm be able to learn from him and the things that he

2:18

taught me, because I think when I got there, he was either

2:21

going into year nine or year eight and

2:23

at that time had all the accolades already, and

2:26

so just the things I learned from him, all the little I

2:28

call him nuggets, you know, just like things that

2:30

don't teach you in the X and o's on the whiteboard, you know, just

2:33

little tricks of the trade. You know, just you

2:36

can set a guy up this way, like they may want

2:38

you to fill up a gap and you just you're in your gap.

2:40

You know.

2:40

You can set up a guy by pre snap

2:43

alignment or the way you step to it and then

2:45

fall back, you know what I mean. There's just different ways you can create more

2:47

plays for yourself, you.

2:48

Know, looking at your body type. I'm

2:50

not sure if I'm correct, but I can

2:52

look at you and say, you look like you play safety. And then I

2:54

heard that you had to stint there before.

2:56

Was it in high school,

2:59

college or what it was?

3:00

High school? Well, my whole life I was always uh

3:03

a dB and then going to the high school,

3:05

I was corner for my first three years and then went

3:07

to strong safety my senior year, and

3:10

then in college they switched me to linebacker.

3:12

So how was that transition, Like did you take

3:14

it on or was it something that they forced you to do?

3:17

They told me when I was going to use other like you're going to linebacker,

3:19

so I really have a choice, But I actually wanted to go move

3:21

to linebacker. Uh, just because

3:23

in high school like coming out of the box and going you know,

3:26

getting tackles and stuff like that. But

3:28

uh, I remember I think

3:30

this was my junior in college. Dudes who

3:32

went down. We were playing Arizona and I hadn't

3:34

played safety in years, and they put it back

3:36

there like you got mill third and they ran.

3:39

He throws that ball.

3:41

I was gonna pick undercut me, touchdow.

3:43

I was like that, going back in the box.

3:47

Did you play offense in high school

3:50

as well?

3:50

Yeah? In high school I did receiver tight end, which

3:52

was which one did you like better? I

3:55

mean tight end was cool because I was close to the core, But I didn't

3:58

like blocking. I didn't like that block. I I'll

4:00

catch the ball.

4:00

Yeah, it's time for your player profile,

4:02

presented by Pepsi, the official soft

4:05

drink of the Washington Commanders. So

4:07

you grew up in Utah man an

4:09

extremely let's call an athletic

4:12

family, to say the least. Your

4:14

mom was a volleyball player

4:16

and a basketball player. All went to Utah.

4:19

Your dad baseball and football. Your

4:22

sister is on the US national

4:25

women's volleyball team, and

4:27

your brother played

4:29

football as well.

4:30

Yeah, so I got like you said,

4:33

mom and dad will play in Utah.

4:34

Yeah.

4:35

Dad played football.

4:36

It was a.

4:36

Quarterback and a pitcher and then pitching

4:38

the miners for the Blue Jays just for

4:40

like a couple of years.

4:42

My mom volleyball basketball.

4:45

Yeah.

4:45

My older brother plays the Cardinals now offensive line

4:47

is in Jackson. And my sister plays for the

4:50

Japan team.

4:51

She plays for the she was on.

4:53

The US team, Okay, and so the

4:55

times are weird, like she goes to a foreign country for like

4:57

six or nine months and then goes to the US team

4:59

in the summer.

5:00

What growing up in that type

5:03

of household that what was

5:05

family game night like or or or

5:07

what y'all got together? And any type

5:09

of sporting event like going against each

5:11

other?

5:11

Very everything competitive?

5:13

Everything was competitive. Who could eat their food first?

5:15

You know?

5:15

Walking the door was gonna get do you know what I mean? Everything we did

5:18

was competitive. I got a little brother too. He's a sophomore

5:20

in Utah, James Lander, and he's

5:22

gonna be uh.

5:23

He's the next he's the most potential.

5:25

Wow.

5:26

But they always says, but

5:28

it's it's crazy to have two

5:31

already.

5:31

And then he's a young one that has a lot more potential.

5:34

How is that though, like far as just seeing

5:36

you guys having success

5:38

at saying you know the same sport. Does

5:41

that motivate give him extra motivation

5:43

or does it put pressure on them?

5:45

I think it motivates them. I mean there is a I think

5:47

there is a little pressure. There could be a little

5:49

pressure having two older brothers in the league, But I

5:52

think it's in the motivat overall. What position

5:55

does he linebacker right now? Yeah, but

5:57

he's he's about six five to forty

6:00

a.

6:00

DM before dirt hang

6:02

on going to dirt fast.

6:04

You mentioned your your older brother,

6:06

Jackson, plays for the Arizona car Knows.

6:08

Twenty nineteen special

6:11

time for you. You got you get drafted

6:14

by the Seahawks that year, and then Jackson

6:16

got drafted by the Indianapolis Coats.

6:20

What was it like to first and foremost here your name

6:22

called doing draft night, and then or

6:24

doing the draft, and then later on

6:27

your brother getting drafted.

6:29

I mean, the whole thing was wild experience because I remember

6:31

coming out of college, I was I

6:33

was projected to go undrafted because I didn't

6:35

play hardly at all my first three years, just special

6:38

teams, and my senior year, I finally got to start,

6:42

but I just had a good I went to the East West Srine game

6:44

and then I had a good combine and

6:46

then my agent calls me like two to three four and was like, hey,

6:49

you might go a little higher. You may sneak

6:51

up in these rounds. And then I get a call

6:53

in the state of Washington and I thought it

6:55

was I mean, at the time it was Redskins, but

6:57

it's committed now, and I thought it was because

7:00

when you think of Seattle, you don't think of Washington, right.

7:02

Yeah.

7:03

I was like, all right, East Coast, I

7:05

guess I'm like hello, and I couldn't hear nothing

7:07

because my mom had a bunch of people over. Everyone's cheering. And

7:09

then I see on the I didn't know until he showed on the TV that was going

7:11

the Seahawks, And that was a That was an

7:13

awesome experience. It just happens fast, you know, right

7:15

talking about I'm going ahead, and then the next

7:17

day my brother gets drafted.

7:19

Wow, but bolts.

7:21

But that's my thing is like you

7:23

got a brother, y'all get drafted the same year,

7:26

Like yeah, and you're talking about being competitive, like

7:28

that goes at the door there.

7:29

You just want to see, man, my brother get picked

7:31

up. I'm getting picked up. You got called first? How

7:34

was that?

7:34

Like?

7:35

Was that nerve wrecking? After you got picked up? Just thinking

7:37

like, man, with somebody called my brother, you know, just so

7:39

it.

7:39

Was nerve wrecking. As in his age

7:42

was telling him he's going to go around like four to five and

7:45

for the fourth round pass, fifth round pass, and he

7:47

hadn't got a call yet. And then during the sixth

7:49

round, still don't got a call. And that's why I

7:51

started getting nervous. Yeah, but I was like, I knew he was

7:53

gonna get the call, yeah, but I didn't think he was gonna

7:55

slip.

7:56

Yeah.

7:56

But once he finally got that call.

7:58

Yeah.

7:58

Because when I got drafted, I was, you know, I was happy,

8:01

but it was I was like, all right, let's go, like

8:03

I wanted the next thing, you know. But when my brother got

8:05

drafted, that's when I started to cry a little bit.

8:08

I felt more happy for him than I did for myself.

8:10

When so when we played the Cardinals the

8:12

opening game of the season, was

8:15

it a house divided with your parents or

8:17

they or they would just like, you know what, we want

8:19

both of ourselves to have a good, good game

8:22

and you know, get out of here healthy kind of the ladder.

8:24

I mean, because you to see how I played

8:26

him, because he's been with the Colts, he's been a journeyman.

8:29

He's been his rookie was with the Colts,

8:31

and then after the trade deadline went to the Chiefs, got

8:33

himself a Super Bowl nice

8:37

and then he's with the Giants for two years, the Raiders

8:39

for one year. So I played him when he was with the Giants and the Raiders

8:42

before that, now with the Cardinals.

8:44

But uh my mom's always made like little hats

8:46

where it's like half and half, you know, what team

8:48

I want to what team he's on.

8:49

You know, like like Maba Kelsey, Yeah,

8:53

had a jersey jersey.

8:56

Uh No, she doesn't got a jersey les she wears

8:58

at least I mean, give we had the jerseys

9:01

like it was eighty three.

9:02

It was like the eight nine or the eight

9:04

three.

9:05

Yeah, half half Giants

9:07

and half Redskins. I mean it's

9:09

dope though. I mean it's crazy though, because,

9:11

like you know, talking to other guys that have brothers in

9:13

the league, it's odd

9:16

because I don't know because I'm the oldest and

9:18

I'm four years older than my brother. But we

9:20

never talked football like it was literally

9:22

like what's up when we see each other? It was we didn't work

9:24

out together. We did nothing football

9:27

wise. But I was more the guy who was

9:30

in tune with what I was trying to do. He was just

9:32

there and he loved football, but he was like,

9:34

hey, that time to do what he do? Do you

9:36

guys meet up in the off season and

9:38

work out together and you know, put that work in.

9:41

After the COVID year, we worked out all. We

9:44

all, I mean we all shocked up in the house together. Yeah, and

9:47

uh by the end of by the end

9:49

of the training thing because they canceled and all

9:51

that, Yeah, we were ready to kill each other. So

9:55

that was our last offseason training together. We

9:59

don't train together. We were to the same

10:01

gym, and if we go at the same

10:03

times, we're on different Like if he's on

10:05

lower, I'll be on upper. Just because

10:08

when we're apart from each other and around toa other for stints,

10:10

we're best friends. But when we're running to there for a long period

10:12

of time like that competitive

10:15

she gets brought out and we just end up fighting.

10:18

I love it, man, I love it. This is

10:21

uh, your first year here in DC.

10:24

What were you so far

10:27

coming from being a West coast

10:29

guy playing out to see how to spend in your

10:31

first four years there? What has this

10:33

transition been like for you?

10:36

It's been I mean, it hasn't been too bad. I

10:38

mean, obviously it's a big move. Never been on the East coast

10:40

before. It might

10:42

have been a Florida train, but Florida's a different world, you

10:44

know. But

10:47

uh, it

10:49

was. It was a big move obviously going to the East coast. And

10:51

the first thing I noticed was no mountains from

10:54

Utah, you know, so I felt like my sense of direction was lost.

10:57

But it's nice out here. You know, it gets humid,

10:59

and I never really been in humidity. That's that

11:01

was new. But uh, you know,

11:03

I like this area. People are nice. It's a good area.

11:07

Team's awesome. My first like

11:09

when I first got here, my first like take on the team

11:11

was I was surprised at how everyone

11:13

in the locker room was just regular dudes, good dudes. Everyone was

11:15

good friends with each other, like, which I like that a

11:18

lot, you know, Like I was, I said, that's cool. I can

11:20

fit in here.

11:20

You know. You uh, you've

11:22

already had an experience of the

11:25

Dallas Washington rivalry

11:27

having played them on Thanksgiving?

11:31

Was it more intense than you thought? Dallas

11:34

Week is a little different. Yeah, yeah, what what

11:36

is? What are your takes? What's your take on it?

11:38

Yeah? Leaning up Dallas, everyone told me how you

11:40

know what it's going to be like, and

11:43

I mean I expected the worst, and

11:46

you know it was up there, you know, like it's the intensity

11:48

and how everyone is like it's Dallas Week, like we don't mess

11:50

around, and you know I loved

11:52

it, and you.

11:53

Know I hopped on quick like now

11:56

now going into this week.

11:58

So here's when I

12:01

came here from Buffalo and our big

12:04

rivals back there was the Dolphins and

12:06

I'm like, man, okay, this a nice rivalry.

12:08

Then I came here we

12:11

you know, my first Dallas game, we go down there

12:13

in oh seven and I'm like, man, I

12:16

play some rivalry games. It can't be that

12:18

big of a difference. And also when I was in Saint

12:20

Louis the forty nine ers wild rivalry.

12:22

When I tell you, this was the most physical

12:25

game I had ever played. And

12:27

after the game, I ended up needing to get an X ray

12:29

on like my real I

12:32

mean, I'm out there hunting folks and

12:35

it was a line of about twenty

12:37

people getting X rays from twenty players

12:39

from both teams getting x raised.

12:41

That's how physical it was when you

12:43

came. You came run a time that Coach Gibbs told

12:45

us they better be hurt if we.

12:46

Don't want oh yeah, yeah, yeah the game. So

12:49

I remember that game. He said we better hurt

12:51

them.

12:51

They better be more guys on their injury

12:54

report next week if we.

12:55

Don't win the game.

12:57

That was Coach Gibs.

12:59

Man, Coach Gibbs for you, man, my

13:01

question, man, like, you know, beyond the rivalry,

13:04

just being in this area, how has

13:07

DC been to you? Because you know, that's one

13:09

of the things that I guess

13:11

I can say when I got here in O five, I

13:14

was not trying to look forward to

13:16

just what outside of football brought

13:18

me. But it was kind of like one of those things.

13:21

Especially and it was a different time for me because we was winning.

13:24

But the city, man, it's like no other like

13:26

these fans really support the football team,

13:28

really support the individual. So I

13:31

want to I wonder, have you got a dose

13:33

of that yet or have you haven't been out you

13:35

know that far to even you know, I.

13:37

Mean, I haven't spent a whole lot of time in downtown d

13:39

C. But I

13:42

mean, even it makes you think about there were

13:44

so many pictures from last years training camp, yeah, and

13:47

there's like nobody yeah, and then how

13:49

it was this year there were so many people

13:51

and like I was like these people really got our back.

13:53

You know.

13:53

It was it was cool to see to turn out every time they

13:55

had to open the fans and

13:58

even through the season obviously hasn't gone the way we've gone, but

14:01

even with our record, there's still for

14:03

what our records are, still a good amount of fans, you know what

14:05

I mean, they show up, yeah,

14:08

and so I mean overall,

14:11

I mean, if you're doing bad, they let you know about it, you

14:13

know, no doubt. But overall,

14:15

you know, I felt they have support as well, and you know, had

14:17

our back.

14:18

You uh, you got you

14:21

wear the Cowboys hats man. I love to hat.

14:23

I gotta get me a hat man, I gotta get a

14:25

cowboy hat. Have you ever seen this cowboy

14:27

looks?

14:28

I think I've seen it once. Got some nice

14:30

ones, Like I've seen one of them. You had you had a black one on

14:32

one day or something.

14:33

Yeah, seen black growing up

14:35

in Utah. What's it

14:37

like I've never been to Utah. I don't know if

14:39

you've ever been to Utah.

14:40

I think of just watching what's

14:43

the show out right now? In White I think it's

14:45

wyoming.

14:47

Everything of Yellowstone, Yellowstone, you think of Yellowstone?

14:49

What's what's Utah?

14:50

Like?

14:51

It's beautiful up north, That's where I'm

14:53

from, up northern Utah, real green,

14:55

huge mountains like you can't look

14:58

in one direction of Nazia Mountain Range. Down

15:01

south is beautiful too. It's like real red and like orange

15:04

rocks and stuff. But it totally different, looks like two different

15:06

worlds were on from It's beautiful, Like

15:08

I said, the mountains and stuff.

15:09

You had cattle and stuff growing up.

15:11

Yeah, so we got a ranch back home out

15:13

the middle of nowhere.

15:15

How big is the ranch?

15:16

It's good size

15:20

that a couple of thousand, couple,

15:26

it's a good size.

15:27

Yeah.

15:27

So with that life growing up, like basically

15:30

getting up in the morning, taking care of the cattle, you

15:32

know what I mean going out there because I see and

15:34

I don't know, like I'm just I watched a lot of TV,

15:37

and I see guys who live on those ranches. Man,

15:39

they got so many responsibilities when it comes

15:41

to.

15:41

There's there's a I mean, there's a lot of work that comes with it.

15:44

Sorry to cut you off, No, it's good, but uh, I

15:46

mean my bringing was different. So we had the ranch,

15:49

but then we also had a house up in the mountains above kind

15:52

of between Park City from the Park City and

15:54

Salt Lake between

15:56

the two. And uh so, Monday

15:59

through Friday we were there going to school

16:01

doing our sports and stuff, and then Friday

16:03

afternoon, once all the all that's done up

16:05

to the ranch for the weekends.

16:08

So it's kind of the best of both world.

16:10

So spend a ton of spend

16:12

a ton of time outside. Yeah, outdoor sports,

16:14

skiing, yeah, skin, do

16:17

you still ski? Or It's like I

16:19

got to cut that out.

16:20

Because friends I had that were you know, because when

16:22

I went to school was down in Park City, big ski

16:24

town. So part of school growing up, elementary school was skin.

16:27

So in the winter, after school, they take it to the mountain. Teach

16:29

you out of ski.

16:29

Yea.

16:30

But then a lot of my friends ated getting competitive with

16:32

it and doing all the you know, the tricks

16:34

and jumps and all like the crazy backcountry

16:37

stuff. Dudes getting caught in avalanches,

16:39

getting concussions, hurting

16:41

your knees a lot in those skis, and so I was

16:43

just like once I was on the high

16:45

school, I was like, yeah, I'm not gonna keep skiing

16:47

risk it.

16:48

What uh when you're not in the park

16:51

and watching fam and doing all those types of things.

16:54

What are you like off the field?

16:57

What I like to do?

16:57

What am I What do you like to do? What do you like to do off the

16:59

field when the weather's good?

17:01

I mean, fishing, riding horses,

17:03

depend on the season, hunting, been where you can

17:05

hunt that time of year. Just really

17:08

anything outdoors, hiking when

17:11

it's cold, like right after the season when I get back, a

17:13

lot of duck and goose hunting, so ill have like

17:15

two weeks of the season left when I get home. So we'll just pound

17:18

the birds hopefully, you know, with the weather. But

17:21

uh, just anything outdoors, Tata.

17:23

Welcome back to the Players Club. It's your boy to

19:54

the nine. Here with my main man, London

19:57

Fletcher and our linebacker Star

20:00

Bart Cody. I gonna ask you this question

20:03

and you can think back as far as you

20:05

want, all the way to this point. What is

20:07

one of your most rewarding moments. It's

20:09

time for the most Rewarding Moment, brought to you

20:11

by Fanatic Sports Book, the

20:13

most rewarding sports book.

20:15

Please bet responsibly.

20:16

Most Rewarding Moment I would say when

20:19

I got my scholarship to Utah because we're

20:21

growing up.

20:22

That's all.

20:22

That was my dream, get a scholarship to Utah

20:24

and football. When I got my scholarship, uh,

20:28

after college, my brother got drafted, and

20:31

then in the league is when I got my first interception. Wow

20:34

it last year versus the Buccaneers. We're

20:36

playing Germany, which is awesome.

20:38

Yeah, it's dope.

20:39

Picked off Tom Brady.

20:42

You got to go

20:44

hang that ball.

20:46

I got hanging up somewhere.

20:48

That ball especially special place.

20:50

That's that's that's dope.

20:52

Okay, speaking the top plays, we're

20:54

gonna look at some of your top plays from

20:57

this season in the burkeerdy and go. Let's

20:59

take a look Driving towards Greatness, presented

21:01

by Eastern's Automotive Group any

21:04

car anyway for everyone since

21:06

nineteen eighty eight. Let's go ahead to take a

21:08

look at this first player, getst the Denver Broncos

21:11

back out on the West coast. Take us through this one

21:13

right here.

21:14

Shout out Jamian right here, getting that ball loose. I

21:16

really should have stayed up in scoops and tried to score that thing.

21:19

I would I thought that, especially as athletic

21:21

as you are. But I want to go say anything since

21:23

you brought it out just say up

21:25

and kept going.

21:26

You making sure you got it though first, right.

21:28

I mean I'm just running the ball. Yeah this Jamie

21:30

did the work right here.

21:30

And then making sure you got on the ball.

21:32

But you know what though, at that moment in the game,

21:35

like yeah, twenty one.

21:36

Three and that was critical.

21:37

You just want to get to Yeah, you just want to get

21:39

the ball.

21:40

You're thinking about not doing nothing extra, just saying

21:42

hey, let me get this ball.

21:43

Get on the ball right now.

21:44

If that ended up sparking a comeback, I

21:46

guess the Denver Broncos.

21:47

That was a fun game, all right.

21:49

Next play we got against

21:51

the Cowboys, second and six

21:53

tackle fur a loss.

21:55

You read this thing out, talk to me.

21:57

I was actually supposed to blitz on this play, but

22:00

when he hopped over, I was like, no way, he's got it, especially

22:02

with a bunch of that side. I was like, he's got to be just they're setting

22:04

up swing screen. Ye took my shot.

22:06

That's what livebackers do. Man, use your stakes

22:09

like okay, take a shot, yeah, yeah shot. Yeah.

22:11

Now that play right there,

22:14

that's it's things making that tackle.

22:16

If you, I'm glad it worked out for you. If

22:18

you did go through it, your what

22:22

are you doing? Steve Rush would have been

22:24

like, what are you doing? That's that's

22:26

that's great. We need to see some more of that on Sunday.

22:28

I got you, that's for sure.

22:30

Now let's take this right here. This is my favorite

22:32

play by you. This is this is high

22:35

this is high level live backer play right here.

22:38

What what happened on this play? How did you come up

22:40

with this interception?

22:42

Uh?

22:42

We had checked to like a we're

22:44

like a quarters concept checking his box concept.

22:47

And my route that I have to own is that

22:49

spot route out of that bunch sits down? Yes,

22:52

But just watching this guy in film, I knew if he saw

22:54

something that seemed open because

22:56

all year are just been jumping it. Quarterback sees

22:59

it's covered, going to the next read right right, So I knew

23:01

if I just.

23:01

Waited in this a half second, he

23:04

would throw it.

23:05

He sees it, you know what I mean, Just throw it's

23:07

just two steps away from me.

23:09

That's great.

23:09

What about the cats though? That all has

23:11

too?

23:12

That was like a receiver, he said he

23:14

had a little dose to that.

23:15

I thought I was going to the house right here.

23:17

You saw that the speed showed up too.

23:19

I watched it like you did, look like you're

23:21

about to his house.

23:22

I thought she was going to pitch it to. I think Kwan

23:24

was behind you trying to try to write so right.

23:26

There right when he spends me around, I heard him say pitch it

23:28

yeah. But I feel like I was spinn around to.

23:30

I was like, no, the last time, I don't

23:32

do too much right?

23:34

How good did that feel? Back? Because that was another

23:36

momentum change of play to get

23:38

a pick in the reds all that

23:41

had to feel good.

23:42

I was like, in my mind, was like about time all

23:45

year ever been trying to hunt up some picks. You know, I almost probably

23:47

myself in the past game, but finally got

23:49

one.

23:50

Oh man, this is great stuff. Well, Cody

23:52

Man, we appreciate you joining us here

23:54

on the Players Club. We like to have all

23:56

23:59

24:01

mind? We would you know,

24:03

24:06

game left man gets the rival.

24:09

Thank you, Dallas Cowboys. What

24:12

can we expect from you in that game?

24:14

Playing fast nasty? I'm

24:17

I'm excited for this game. I'm looking for this

24:19

game for a long time, ever since playing the first time, which is only

24:21

what six weeks or whatever. Yes, but

24:24

still I'm I'm looking for this game a little cold

24:26

too.

24:26

Oh yeah, yeah, hit you.

24:29

But but you know it might it might actually

24:31

be better than it's four o'clock.

24:33

Probably gonna be a little chillier, you know.

24:35

Out listen, We

24:37

live backers, man live

24:39

backers. So I when I was here, I

24:42

used to talk about the live backers man we set, the taller

24:44

we set, the tempo, live backer

24:46

set, the tall live backer set,

24:48

the tempo. Ain't nothing changed, but

of the twenty twenty three Players

from the season.

27:03

27:04

27:11

official insurance broker and risk

27:13

management partner of the Washington Commanders,

27:16

where our passion is your protection.

27:18

Interesting thing when Tanner was talking about it now,

27:20

because I'm looking at matchups, I'm like, all

27:23

right, I got d Green and Dean

27:25

to handle the receivers. I got Sean

27:27

Taylor and handle Shocky Trey Williams,

27:29

I got I got Duran Paying to handle him. And

27:31

I was like, you know, I'm gonna have to be.

27:34

Rob Oh yeah,

27:39

b Robby.

27:45

Say we're in the same draft class. You know, you come

27:48

in the same time I come in. We're both twenty

27:50

four years old. I definitely feel

27:52

like, uh, well, we'll

27:54

we'll battle it out, for sure, We'll have a good

27:56

We'll have a good day. I feel

27:58

like you're definitely you'll

28:01

probably be that player that just made

28:03

me bring everything I got out, you

28:05

know what I'm saying. So uh, you know, no,

28:07

great players just bring out the best of

28:09

me, you know, So.

28:11

You would after I would

28:13

have been the whole weekend, a whole week

28:15

leading up to that game. I'd have been just

28:17

getting ready. I would have been real quiet,

28:19

just to pay guys,

28:22

I'm going against here. All right, that's that's

28:24

cool. Let's see. Let's see what we got next. Here

28:26

it is right here, let's go. We got the FUNCU.

28:28

Something joy

28:34

he went out there.

28:35

We gotta we got to hit this back from the beginning to

28:37

play the route everything.

28:39

He went in the old school book man, And I'm a

28:41

pull this thing out from the nineties.

28:42

Thing online, Like like when we were in Atlanta,

28:45

I'm like, I gotta hit this on. I

28:56

feel like that's where that's I feel like that's when we're playing at

28:58

our best. But we enjoyed ourselves have one.

29:01

So I like to just dance because I feel like that bring incitement

29:03

to everybody on them.

29:06

That's the thing about Curtis Man. Curtis

29:08

are actually dance right.

29:09

Right right. But the Dick

29:12

Gates though, that.

29:13

Uh god Gates and Cosmic

29:15

has been the funniest man when it comes to just popping

29:18

up in your dns. You see those guys

29:20

all the time watching fins. They were

29:23

having a lot of fun on that.

29:24

One, gritty and everything.

29:25

All right, we got one last clip. We

29:28

actually got an imposter in here, the personator.

29:31

You know, man, you we was.

29:32

We was waiting on that name to be called Draft

29:35

Night and yours truly your

29:37

fellow bulldog here.

29:40

I think it wasn't nobody in the

29:42

room more static than Fred.

29:43

She got this clip.

29:48

Right,

29:59

f to have somebody man who don't know you,

30:02

I just know you know, y'all shed the same

30:04

blood y'all believe the same colors.

30:06

But just got that.

30:07

I mean, he was bro he was geek for you, man,

30:09

I feel man seeing that clip.

30:11

That's exciting.

30:11

Man.

30:12

He's bringing the energy.

30:13

See looks like.

30:15

You should have had a value of for Jersey

30:19

everything.

30:19

He's been his biggest supporter, man, biggest

30:21

fan and the one of the things I want to add to that, it's just

30:24

it's been a a

30:26

I can't say a pleasant surprise, but I

30:29

am a little surprised just knowing

30:31

that Forbes is a young guy.

30:33

You've been through a lot, and he's

30:36

he.

30:36

Understood the task like he's not really,

30:39

I guess you can say he's taking everything

30:41

that's been thrown at him instead of getting out

30:43

there and going out there and putting him work.

30:44

In its last couple of games, man, he's been.

30:46

He showed up. Yeah, he's he's played well.

30:48

And you know that's what you want to see from a young

30:51

guy. You talk and you have, you experienced

30:53

them adversity here and for a lot of us when

30:56

you coming to the league, that's the first time we've

30:59

had a negative place blissed either

31:01

in the press social media, because

31:03

we all we've been that dude our

31:06

whole careers, our whole lives. We didn't just become

31:08

that dude when we got to the lead. We

31:10

were the dudes and pee wee high

31:13

school college, so we

31:15

haven't face adversity and criticism.

31:19

I've been I've been proud with the way he's had I'm

31:21

very.

31:21

Proud, and that only leads up for me

31:23

to say this, be on the lookout

31:25

next year. I think he's really gonna show some of his best

31:27

stuff next year man, and I'm one of

31:29

his biggest supporters too, not only Fred.

31:33

All right, so that's a wrap from this season

31:36

of the Players Club. We appreciate,

31:38

We appreciate you all tuning in

31:40

the entire season. You can go back
