The first picture to use Richard Matheson's novel, "I Am Legend", as source material is arguably still it's finest adaptation, as well as being a direct influence on the look and mood of George A Romero's, "Night of the Living Dead" (1968). Similarly, copyright problems have landed TLMOE in the public domain, and one can consistently find a nice looking copy to stream on YouTube.
