When schools closed due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, Vermont high school senior Tushar Asthana decided he should use the extra time at home to gain more college credits. He had already taken two courses the previous summer at the University of Vermont through its Pre-College program.

This fall, Tushar is entering into UVM as a first year student with 15 credits under his belt. He explains in this first episode of The Pre-College Experience why he chose to take college classes while still in high school and how that decision impacts his family and his future.
