Sanjay and Lew discuss the adoption process for LGBT parents and the positives and challenges that come with it.  They talk about why parenting adopted children is different to becoming an LGBTQ+ parent through other routes, Lew and Rich's parenting style, the story of how they met and why the adoption process is challenging, but necessary.
