Here is SHOW #71: ANGELA BASSETT and WAKANDA FOREVER. In this show, I highlight the achievement of the actress and Woman of Color - Angela Bassett - along with the phenomenal new movie - WAKANDA FOREVER - in which was a #1 Blockbuster movie for 4 weeks in a row.  The day before I recorded this show, Angela Bassett was NOMINATED by the Academy Awards for BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS for her role in WAKANDA FOREVER!! I therefore felt it was time to RECOGNIZE the phenomenal career of ANGELA BASSETT and what she brings as a person, individual, wife, mother, actress, and woman of color over her decades of work as an actress after graduating from Yale University with her Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A) from Yale School of Drama in 1983! I believe that Angela Bassett along with her Oscar nomination and the movie WAKANDA FOREVER are a CELEBRATION of academic achievement, hard-work, and an appreciation of culture in which ALL of us need in these challenging times of race and ethnic relations.
