I complain that life is boring. And then the universe chucks somebody in front of my car and has me run them over.

Yes. Really.

My tale of how I ran somebody over thankfully didn't end grimly. But it did happen. It's probably something I should stop mentioning to people. It's doing my credibility no favours, and now nobody trusts me enough to drive them anywhere.
