Real Estate is a people business. If you want to become a successful real estate agent then you’ll have to learn how to create, build, and nurture relationships. There are no secrets, ninja tactics, or leprechauns with pots of gold for generating more leads in your business. At least not for the long-term.During this interview with Bill Crane we get into the importance of building relationships into all of your marketing campaigns. Every marketing piece you send out should always be about delivering value first instead of “selling”. The same goes for your “sales” scripting. Your scripting should be about delivering value. It’s not a clever “sales script” that’s going to get you the next lead, it’s a value approach which will. One of Bill’s examples for a cold lead postcard/letter campaign was to offer help with property tax bills for homeowners. Offer ways homeowners can lower their bills, or offer info to references to attorneys which can help with lowering them. Next, Bill suggests to focus in on using your strengths and developing a plan around them. If you’re good at door knocking, then do door knocking. If you’re not good at it, then don’t do it.
