In April 2016 about 3,000 marketers from across the world came out to San Diego, California to attend one of the largest social media marketing conferences in the world called Social Media Marketing World 2016. This was my 3rd year attending the event and I brought my microphones and audio recorder with me so that we can share with you everything that took place at this awesome event.At the event you had marketers, small business people, and corporate exec’s, non-for-profit’s, and even municipalities that came to learn how to leverage their brand, products, and services online by using social media, videos, websites, and everything else online.In this first episode at SMMW16 we talked about the importance of going to conferences and events outside of the real estate industry. I believe you can get much better and up to date information about social media marketing and online marketing in general from the marketing industry itself where the professional marketers go. It’s incredible that every year I attend this event there are only a handful of real estate practitioners who attend it.
