Dr. Mark Trexler has specialized in climate change for almost 30 years. He has been a lead author for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and worked on the first carbon offset program while at the World Resources Institute in Washington, DC.  He founded the first business climate risk consulting firm, and most recently served as Director of Climate Risk for the international risk firm of Det Norske Veritas. Dr. Trexler’s current project is the Climate Web – an open-access resource for exploring climate risks and solutions.
