The Red White & YOU show

I’m just a small town kid, from Northern Minnesota [on the Canadian Border] that decided to serve my country (24 year Army Veteran). A crazy oppurtinity presented itself to share my voice on the airwaves. It was a platform for me to give back but I wan’t sure what niche or what I’d talk about. Then it dawned on me, talk about what you know. So reaching into my background (The Military). I thought, let’s highlight all the people doing great things for the Military, Veterans their families Police Fire and First responders and anyone in that area that has a great message to share. How it got it’s name: some time back I had a (cross country) tour lined up called the Red White and YOU Tour. It was going to be more of a grass roots movement back road tour type thing telling the stories of small town America. I thought, hey we can do that in a Podcast, so let’s adopt the name. So then The Red White and YOU show was born.A little about my time on radio. First I want to say I don’t have a back ground in radio and anyone that does radio for a living or makes it look good, I truly salute you. I had to learn to do my own sound engineering, etc (not as easy as it appears). I quickly learned that a Podcast format would be less constrictive (rules and laws) and it was a better fit for my family and I. And I want to add that I came to love my KRFF family. Oh and I want to add that I was doing it all FREE, yep it wasn’t a paid gig, but we had lot’s of fun. Since it’s inception launching on Memorial Day 2019, we have shared the stories from: Actors, Actresses, producers, Authors, Photographers, Artists, writers, Psychics, Mediums, Energy healers, counselors, trauma experts, Suicide Survivors, Soldiers, Bands, TV personalties and everyone in between.I am always looking for People and Organizations that are doing great things for Veterans, Military and their families as well as our First Responders. Somebody with a story to tell. Somebody like you!Healing, starts one connection at at time. After all this isn't that what it’s all about? So wether you laugh your ass off or maybe shed a tear. I trust this program will deliver exactly what you need.
