In this episode we look at the criminal justice system. In most cases Public Defenders work to defend the most vulnerable population against a system that uses discriminatory practices in sentencing. It’s a fine balance between validating the victim experience and holding defendants accountable while upholding rights to due process. As we talk with Los Angelo’s County, Public Defense Attorney Emily Milton.
