Scott Tourle is a farm owner of The Springs Homestead just South of Dubbo. The Springs has operated for over 150 years as a sheep shearing station and cattle stud, throughout its history they've had their fair share of ups and downs and more recently the struggle of drought. Many properties face difficulties both financially and through workload, during these tough times but it's ultimately the banding together of a community that helps rural farmers make it through. Radio producer Lachlan Perry sat down with Scott to talk about his ongoing experience through droughts and how he and his community are making it through.
