Banter is not a word we use regularly, but when it comes to leadership, we need to learn to value it more. Banter in leadership can help us to connect deeper with others and remind others (and ourselves) to not take ourselves too seriously. Leadership about trust – and trust is about connection. And one of the ways to create connection is through appropriate banter.
