We, and returning guest (not Lance) voice actor/trivia master/damn fine human being Chris Olds have all been replaced with beta units, and are off to adventure with "The Last Starfighter" (Dir. Nick Castle 1984). Starring: Lance Guest, Dan O'Herlihy, and Catherine Mary Stewart. Was this entire thing not only a test for "Starfighters," but movie effects as we know them? If you don't read everything on screen, how will you know your "Life. As a House?" And how aliens aren't the only ones that are gnarly from the eyebrows up. 

Plot: High schooler Alex Rogan conquers the Starfighter video game, only to find out it was just a test, and is transported to another planet. He has been recruited to join a team of the best starfighters to defend their world from the attack.
